Q. What is the chocolate fountain made from?
A. Our chocolate fountains are made with stainless steel, specially made for, and the nest in, the food industry. The surround is made of Perspex, which allows the internal lights to show through and create a very special effect around the fountain and food.

Q. What kind of chocolate do we use?
A. We use special, high quality, ‘couverture’ Belgian chocolate. This chocolate contains a higher percentage of cocoa butter which makes it creamier and flows better around the fountain. We can supply milk, dark or white chocolate as well as special flavours including strawberry, milk with hazelnut, caramel, cappuccino, lemon and lime and orange. NB – the chocolate may contain traces of nuts so we not not recommend the use of our fountains for anyone with an allergy to nuts.

Q. What can you dip into a Chocolate Fountain?
A. You can have whatever dips you like bur we recommend they are not crumbly or likely to fall off a skewer as this will block the fountain and stop the flow of chocolate. In this event, operators may need to switch the fountain off to clear the blockage. Our most popular dips are: Strawberries, Marshmallows, Profiteroles, Mini-doughnuts, Grapes, Pineapple, Jelly Babies and Fudge.

Q. How long can we operate a fountain for?
A. The fountains maintain the correct temperature, for the chocolate to run smoothly, for as long as you want, but for our packages we generally operate a fountain for between 2 and 4 hours

Q. Can the fountains be customised for individual events?
A. We can cater for the theme of your event, if you require, and this can be discussed when you book your event with us. As standard, the Illuminated surround has red and blue lights, and will have some decoration.

Q. Who sets the fountain up and maintains it at the event?
A. Our fully trained service chefs will set the fountain up and supervise it throughout your event. All of the dips will be kept topped up and the area will be kept clean and tidy. We will answer any questions and help with the use of the fountain, and clear everything away afterwards. There will be no cleaning up for anyone else at all.

Q. What areas of the country will you cover?
A. We will travel to cater for your event in any part of England except Northumberland and East Anglia. We will also cover most parts of Wales. Please call to check with us if you are unsure. No extra charge will be applied for any location.

Q. How do I book?
A. We require a non-refundable deposit of £100 to secure your booking, along with a signed and completed booking form and terms & conditions, which you can download from our home page. The balance for your chosen package will then be due 14 days prior to your event.

Q. What is Fruit Coulis?
A. Fruit coulis is basically a fruit sauce with small pieces of fruit within it. The fruit coulis we use is made up of 90% fruit and 10% sugar. It is not tested on animals and is suitable for vegetarians/vegans.
